We are planning to travel to barcelona next month, and we are very fans of MUJI design and lifestyle. Searching with google, we find a hotel thant claims to be furnished by Muji. Is it true? Someone knows it? we want to enjoy a minimal stay at barcelona whotells!
The Whotells apartments (strange name, and not a hotel) are furnished with Muji, according to their website and to the Easyjet in-light magazine site:

Walking around the city center you can see many modernist architectonic details in walls and facades.
This marvellous ticket box belongs to the Palau de la Musica and is only a little detail in a building full of them, from the stairs to the ceilings, the halls...

Catalunya is - in a way - a separate country from Spain. The Catalunyans represent an older culture than that of Castillian Spain, and these two cultures have been at odds for many years.
Here, you see a photograph of a Catalunyan folk dance held after Mass in Barcelona. This photo was taken in 1976, not long after Franco died, and the latest emergence of Catalunyan culture began.
most of the time the weather is very nice and warm in Bancelona, but un july 2001 we had also a few days of heavy rain. don't forget a rain coat and an umbrella, because we had a few days of heavy rain there .... We were on Camping "Tres Estrellas" in Gáva, situated near the express road about 15km from Barcelona on the south of the city.

You'll probably enter at least 5 bars/cafes/restaurants every day but you still might get hungry while on the metro for example. Then it is useful to have some supplies from the supermarket with you, like water, fruit, jogurt, chocolate, biscuits, chewing gum.
There is a huge supermarket at the Ramblas with a great selection.
Or maybe, you also enjoy "visiting" supermarkets when on holiday. I love looking around and even buy some souvenirs. In Barcelona I once again made the experience that these days it is hard to find something new. All over Europe you get the same food more or less, and even made by the same companies. At least it is easy to compare prices :-)
