by mistiblu33

I do not know this particular apartment
and cannot recommend , as I haven't stayed in any
but I hope you will find one that suits you as there are many (apartments) + agencies in B,
just search eg in google opinions of the users.
Perhaps for 3 persons a hotel room wd be more economic and easier
(unless you have special meal / cooking needs)

Good luck

Hi,

I think the marathon will take place close to the Fira Montjuic, right?

What do you think about these apartments? I found them on a website of a company which is renting apartments in Barcelona:

http://www.akaza.net/en/apartments/Paseo_de_Montjuic.html

http://www.akaza.net/en/apartments/Magic_Fountain.html

Hope this will help.
Have fun in Barcelona.

Travel Tips for Barcelona

Hostel Barcelona by Nou Camp Stadium

by Lauramad

Hi!
This is Laura and I would like to give a tip for those going to barcelona for a Football Game or a regular trip. There is this hostel 10 min walk from the FC Barcelona Stadium, Plaça Espanya and 5 min walk from Sants train station.
It is called Alberguinn Hostel Barcelona http://www.alberguinn.com This is the best hostel experience I've had! The staff members were very friendly, showers were hot, and the lockers are very handy! It's not far from the metro, the kitchen is well-equipped, and they provide breakfast. What more could you ask for?

German Pavilion

by zheyy

The building was designed by Mies van der Rohe as the German pavillion for the Universal Exhibition held in 1929. This pavillion was indentified as a paradigm of modern architecture because of the perfect harmony achieved between interior and exterior space.

This is the rebult one.

Football

by Gili_S

What can I say? Football! We all know that this city has one of the biggest and richest football clubs in the world (and sport in general, Barcelona has also very successful basketball and handball clubs) The summer of 2010 Spain won for the first time the world cup and the party was on none stop.

HUGE football stadium!

by firethorn

My boyfriend dragged me along to the Barcelona FC stadium and I must admit it was brilliant! I never imagined it would be that massive and you just have to stand for 5 mins with your mouth open! The museum is ok, but most of it is in Spanish. The shop has absolutely everything to do with the club but is pretty expensive. If you are wanting an official top I suggest you wait and go to a shopping mall where they are slightly cheaper.

Sitges is a lovely place and much nicer if you want to go swimming.
You can get there by train from Barcelona Sants station or by car taking the road towards Tarragona. If you want to get there fast: Take the toll road but I recommend the road running along the coast. Hard to keep your eyes on the road.
Sitges also has a good nightclub: Atlantida which is open air right on the beach. FAB!
Nightclub only open May-October though.
There is also a film festival which can be quite bizarre.
