near the subway station

The hotel is conveniently located, just of the Ramblas near the subway station of Licieu.
Because the hotel is not on, but just of the Ramblas, the rooms are a bit more quiet than the other two hotels described above.

The rooms were good and clean, the clean bathroom had a bath and a shower. The floorplan was a bit confusing tough, after three days it still was difficult to go right at once.

Breakfast is included in the roomprice and is in buffetstyle. Different sorts of bread with cheese, meat or jam. Drink an orange juice and / or coffee and tea. And there was enough availlable to feel stuffed.

The only thing we found strange was the method of paying for the room. Every day we had to pay for the next night, by then they updated the key so we could enter again. We would have payed all nights in advance, if they asked......

Our verdict:
This hotel is very good located and the price / quality is absolutely good !

Convenient & Clean

You know, I found the Hotel Moderno, right off the street from Las Ramblas to be wonderful! If you search online, you should be able to get a good rate. Look at edreams.com or hotels.com
It is only a block away from everything, and about a 2 block flat walk from the Liceu metro stop, which has an elevator (if you have luggage issues) and also about 2 blocks from the market on Las Ramblas where you want to shop for all your picnic needs. They speak English also.
Have fun! Clean room, nice complete breakfast (included) - (not just white flour crap food), close to everything.
