Modern and comfortable
Absolutely recommendable place.
Good location if your activities will be in the Diagonal and Les Corts area. To downtown, 20 minutes with the Metro and the closest Metro station is 7 blocks far. (Les Corts, green line, L3)
Spa and gym not open yet. (may 2007)
Unique Quality: Staff.
Location for bussines.
Room was small but with all I needed.

The hotel is brand new. It's huge, modern and has very high standards.
The problem is it's far away from the city centre. Nearest bus stop is on Avda. Diagonal (bus no. 7 takes you to the city centre). No subway stations nearby. It's attached to a big shopping centre (L'Illa Diagonal).
If you can choose, the best NH, to my view, is NH Duc de la Victoria.

I do agree with others above, and NH hotels is one of my favourite brands for business travel.
However, the location of this particular one may be great for a business trip (near to a convention centre and business area) but not so convenient for tourism. If you get a good deal and don't mind to spend 30-40 minutes by bus/metro to the sights, can be an option.

Gracias por tu cordial respuesta! Yo voy a estar asistiendo a un evento que tendrá lugar en el Palau de Congressos de Catalunya, como te parece mejor viajar desde este hotel hasta este lugar? Con el TRAM? No hay Metro cerca?

Tienes tram, metro (linea 3), buses (al menos el 7 y el 68, puede que mas lineas). Mira en www.tmb.net
Está cerca, unas 4-5 paradas, en la misma Avda Diagonal.

Gracias Isabel por tus datos. O sea que el hotel Constanza me queda ideal para ir al Congreso y un poco más lejos para la diversión... :-( como dice el refrán, "calavera no chilla"
Sabés de buenos "pubs" en Barcelona? Imagina que voy solo. Conozco un par cerca de plaza Real pero no mucho más.
