Walk the entire length of the Ramblas on one side, then back again on the other. Every little shop, every little kiosk, and every little stand (especially on weekends when political parties set up shop and distribute literature) is worth looking at. DO NOT buy anything. Chances are the same item is available two blocks east or west of the Ramblas at half price. And keep your valuables in check. BE paranoid.Fondest memory... Honestly it would have to be waking up in the middle of a little plaza in the 'Barrio Gotico' at 4:00 AM with NO clue as to how I got there. That whole weekend is a ver surreal and entertaining tale.
