Whilst not located in Barcelona itself, the hotel is at most a direct 25 minute train ride away from the heart of the city, Plaza Catalunya.
Unique Quality: It is a typical decent Novotel, with fair rooms and a nice restaurant with a terrace that gives out on the swimming pool, a nice setting for both dinner and breakfast on lazy Summer days.
Overall, the hotel provides a welcome change in atmosphere from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona.
Directions: Take the S2 train from Plaza Catalunya. Contrary to the denomination of the hotel, the station at which you have to disembark is right after San Cugat, namely San Joan. The hotel is only a four minutes walk away from the station.
