Metro time schedules?

by FunLovinTourist

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to figure out what time the metro arrives at the Drassanes stop (near the Columbus monument) and what time it arrives at the Liceu metro stop (halfway up the Ramblas). I'm particularly looking for the Sunday schedule, but any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

I'm not sure if you've already visited the BCN transport site or not - here it is just in case:

I see specific times for buses, but general times for Metro with Friday being an exception. When I was there it seems cars run every five minutes - but better let a local confirm.

I can't add much to what others said. Metro runs every few minutes, max you will wait is 10 minutes in the very worse scenario, usually less than 5.

There is not a 'shedule' as fixed times of arrival at the stations, only average intervals between trains depending on the day/time of the day. Once in the platform you will see how much you should wait for the next one.

Between Drassanes and Liceu it will be a couple of minutes the actual trip (if you only plan going from one to the other, it will be better walking)

Thanks everyone.

Belsaita, your last sentence is interesting. It is faster to walk between these two stations?

yes, definitely it makes no sense taking the metro if you only are going from Drassanes to Liceu. Is just 5 minutes walking!

Travel Tips for Barcelona

Barcelona Cathedral

by nicolettart

We walked from Las Ramblas through the Gothic Quarter and found ourselves here, at the cathedral. I have a memory of a street band playing in an alley nearby, and the acoustics were perfect! We couldn't resist buying one of their homemade CD's, they were that good!

PAELLA party

by jakiline

We (schooltrip people) left Barcelona early in the evening and stopped at FIGUERAS. There we tasted a beautiful PAELLA in a restaurant in the towncentre.

Some kids did not enjoy it... and had chips instead (what a shame) .
But I did. It was nice to have a good typical Spanish meal before leaving . The road back to France was dark and wet with heavy rain... No more comment.

comfy shoes for lots of walking

by kazander

Your best walking shoes/sneakers are necessary! Whether it's taking a walking tour of Modernista architecture or just wandering the Barri Gotic and Las Ramblas, there is a lot to be seen in Barcelona by foot. I forgot a nail file, i found I needed on more than you'd think! You can find what you need at the pharmacies which are marked with a neon cross in either red or green Lots of film and/or media cards for the tons of photos you will take. This picture was done with a fisheye lens.

Behind the Ramblas, you will...

by Kozzmozz

Behind the Ramblas, you will find a really nice market. A lot of tourists don´t know this spot, but it is fun to be here and buy some fruit, fish or whatever. You are walking between the inhabitants of Barca, far away from the beaten path....

Trendy Clothes

by IIGUANA about Loft Avignon

These stores situated in the Barri Gotic (there are 3) have the best clothes ever!!! Very trendy jackets, great t-shirts, cool shoes... everything you wanted to look cool, to look fashionable and well, to look just great. Take a look at the Bikemberg shoes and the velvet jackets It's not the cheapest, but then again... what is?
