Finally, a hotel with a real matrimonial bed, not the separate double beds like in other hotels we experienced in Spain. Nice amenities. Breakfast is rather expensive and they only serve one kind of beer. Do ask for the internet password in advance, tends to be somewhat complicated. Half-way between the port and Placa de Espana.

Great location @ Avenida Paralelo. Just 20 minutes walk from the harbour with Maremagnum and 20 minutes walk from the dazzling La Rambla.
I like the location very much and around the hotel are small Cervecerias that served food and beer. Close by to many of the attractions.

This hotel was decent and clean. I totally recommend this especially given its close proximity to the Poble Sec metro stop which makes getting around the city easy. The staff was helpful and courteous. I would stay here again when I return. The view we had from our hotel room was of a little alleyway that housed a very loud cat. Other than that everything was fine. Request a room facing the outside.
