Excellent Site

This is one of the best sites we have stayed in, the facilites are excellent, there is a pool (which we did not use due to the time of year) and a mini zoo with deer etc, which Freya loved.
It is in an ideal position for exploring places like Sitges, Barcelona etc. Although we had our car with us we decided not to take it to Barcelona. You can get a bus from the campsite to the local town, where you can pick up a regular train in to Barcelona itself. In season the campsite offers its own trips to Barcelona
They also rent out accommodation here, check out the web site for the latest information. I would definately stay here again.

Barcelona campsites?

Can anyone recommend good campsites for visiting Barcelona? Ideally suitable for motorhomes/ caravans and within easy reach of the city, either on foot or bus/ train?

We stayed at Camping Vilanova Park, 50 km south of Barcelona. It is a lovely site with swimming pool etc, I would definately stay there again.
We got the bus from the campsite, in to the local town of Vilanova i la Geltru, & the got the train direct to Barcelona's Main station.
There are buses every hour in the main season to Barcelona or the above mentioned train leaves every 20 minutes.

Camping Sites in near city of Barcelona

In the beginning of July we are going to the Forum of Barcelona. Does anybody knows if there are campings near the city. I know that there are on the coast like in Arenys del Mar but I would like to be as close as possible to Barcelona.
