"Bigging up Blanes"

What can I say? Started coming to the town in 1987 (two thirds less population then), when a friend of mine opened a bar. Ricky's Bar is well known in the town and well respected by the locals as he caters mainly for Spanish clientele these days.
I try to come at least twice a year and my kids (now grown up) have never tired of returning. I must have done all the best restaurants at least 15 times each.
I don't like flying, so I come by train and let the wife get body-searched at the airport! If anone needs any help re the town, as I think I am pretty well versed in its comings and goings, then don't hesitate to get in touch.
