Good idea where to stay
Esplendid is 3* hotel, so it's not very expensive. One of the best points is the hotel's location - in the area of campings and apartments blocks (which means cheap supermarkets and restaurants) and very close to the bus terminal (which is the start point for many excursions and also useful if you're going to visit Barcelona by bus or by train). Back to the hotel, it looks nice, but not luxurious. There is a swimmig pool in the yard, though it's small. Also they have gymnasium, sauna, tennis, squash. The menu in the restaurant is not very big, but they change dishes, so it's never the same. There are TV, air-conditioning, bath, telephone and balcony in every room. The room service is good, except the plumber. It took two or three days to find out why there is water on the floor in our bathroom and to fix it. Everything else was fine.
Unique Quality: They don't serve alcohol and pork in the restaurant and the bar. I don't know why. But the non-alcoholic cocktails in the bar seems very good.
