Blanes to Figureres? is it possible??

by tashaf

Hi, i've been trying to find out if it's possible to go from Blanes to Figueres by train. So I can visit the Dali museum.
I've been to Blanes before however the only timetable I have from the tourism board is to Barcelona and the only website I can find is in Spanish and I'm struggling to find what I want.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
thanks in advance

you can do it with a change:

Blanes to Maçanet-Massanes
http://tinyurl.com/yqsc32

Maçanet-Massanes to Figueres
http://tinyurl.com/mk69yv

the first ones are local "cercanias" trains and the second are regional "media distancia" trains, so different websites and all in Spanish only. Yes, Renfe info online is a pain!

Travel Tips for Blanes

A good town to rest in

by KleoScanti

There are a lot of different things to do. You can just lie on the beach (don't forget to use sun-blocks) or spend your days on feet, exploring town's streets and the botanical gardens, or do shopping, or go and visit Barcelona and other towns on the sea coast. In the evening you can go clubbing or just walk along the beach, where you can find a lot of interesting things, including street artists and musicians. My first wonderful memory is the sea at night. I know, it's nothing special, but for me it was just great. The sound of waves and the lights of the town are a really good combination.

The second one is Mar i Murtra botanical garden. It is the "must see" place, really really beautiful.
