Villa Santa Susanna Sagitario: Villa in Blanes
The apartment is well located in a small town by the Mediterranean sea. It had everything; from the wifi to the TV with DVD player.
Lovely views of the sea, great price, and a private swimming pool. I would say that these are the main reasons to stay here.

Villa Cooper, Porta Nova Apartments: Reasonably Priced Simple Apartment in the Old Town
We stayed for a week at a little 3 bed apartment in the old town. Perfectly convenient, clean and functional.
As it was out of season (March) and still chilly weather, we opted for an apartment in the old town, so that we were close to everything.
Porta Nova itself is one of the oldest streets in Blanes, and the name ('New Gate') refers to an entrance to the medieval palace-castle, now a church. The street runs from the sea front to what was once the castle rampart.
The beach is a 2 min walk away and there is a panaderia on the corner for fresh baked bread and pastries in the morning. This charming end of town is much more preferable to the other end, where they are building ugly large apartment blocks.
Our apartment was basic, clean and had a charming roof terrace which caught the sun in the morning (although we hardly saw much sun last visit I can tell you). The apartment felt freezing, as Spanish homes are designed to keep the heat out. We had the electric heaters on, even at night (extra cost) and sat wrapped up in blankets in the evening. We had a small balcony overlooking the street, which could seat a couple of chairs and would have been nice in warmer weather.
You can email Roger (quite a personality!) - who is very helpful and will tell you the current price. or telephone Tina, who is UK based.
We were very kindly upgraded to a 3 bed from a 2 bed when we recommended them to some other friends.
When the sun isn't out in Spain, you need warm clothes. The first thing I bought, was a jumper! (Some good shops in Blanes).
This apartment was perfectly good for a simple base from which to explore, longer than a week though and I may have craved a little more luxury.
If you are irritated by chiming church bells, do not rent this apartment! They don't bother me actually, but they iritated BB somewhat. Also people who get annoyed trying to park, may think twice ; )
Villa Cooper have some other good rentals. See their website for details, (link below).
Very convenient for the center of old town & beach.
Quiet, out of season.
Close to beach.
Nice roof terrace with views of old town.
(Prices listed are approximate for the apartment, for a week. Seasional Prices Variable. Sleeps 5. (2 Bunkbeds)
