Hi if anyone can help me I'd b really grateful. Travelling to Calella with my family on April 13th. Heard so many differing stories re weather temps. Most say that it will be cold but I managed to get onto a site thru google with a webcam, and that says that the lowest temp so far in March is 20.7c. Can anyone let me know if this may be true as getting worried what sort or clothes to pack for a family of four!!!! Prersumably it will be cold in the evening but not sure about the days?
If we had a crystal ball maybe we can help you better!! Weather is crazy now. 2 weeks ago I was liying on a beach near Barcelona, with temps round 25ºC at midday (VERY unusual in March). A few days later temperatures dramatically dropped to aroud 8 C at midday (VERY unusual in March too!) and quite cold at night, and very windy. Some of my plants in the balcony died due to low temperatures. Calella is not so far away form here, so I'm pretty certain there were tempereatures lower than 20.7 C these days.
As you say, 'presumabily' it will be cold (not very cold indeed) in the evenings, and 'presumabily' pretty warm at middays. So, better be prepared to wear in layers and and or remove clothes as weather changes. It may rain a well, so a waterproof light jacket may be very useful.

I also have the same dilema ... I have been checking the weather everyday and it seems to be high 60's at the moment so hopefully will keep rising !! I fully intend to take my normal holiday stuff with just a couple of cardigans for at night, prob take jeans for night instead of little skirts.
I know this is not much help but sometimes its just helpful to hear what someone else is doing !!

Hi... don't know where you are looking for the forecasts, but right now is only 12 C (55 F???), very windy and raining cats and dogs (as I can see trough my office's window). The previsions are of lower temperatures the next two days, and later a small rise and hopefully sunny for the Easter holiday (fingers crossed!!)
Calella is in the mediterranean coast so, wheather can be warm. In april, mean temperature in that area is about 13ºC (about 8-9ºC at night and 17-19ºC at midday). But these are only mean values; in the mediterranean areas spring weather is highly variable. Good luck!
Calella is a small town about 80km north from Barcelona. The town offers you a lot of resturants, bars and hotels. The shopping is not so good and the most stores sell tourist articles. I would defenetly recommend this town. It's cheap and cosy and just 45minutes far from Barcelona city with train.
