Hotel Esplai

Bad, bad, and all over bad

As soon as we got there we were forced to hand in our passports to the reception, which ofcourse resulted in that many of us didn't have another ID with us. We also had to pay a fee of 250€ that we would get back in the end of the week, if nothing had happened during our stay.
The rooms were very small, not more than 4 square meters, a bathroom and a balcony. We didn't have a minibar nor a remote for the tv. The room was meant for 4 persons, and we slept like fish in a tincan :D The view from the hotel wasn't the best either. On one side of the hotel you could see right down in a huge pit full of trash and straight in to another hotel across the street. From the other side of the hotel you could see houses houses and houses, and between the houses a glimpse of the sea. We had halfpension with brekfast and lunch/dinner. The dinner was worse than anything I have ever eaten in a hotel, and we didn't go there more than maybe twice during our stay. The hotel must have known that we were a group of partypeople, and treated us as such. We almost got evicted, we were threatened to be arrested and we had to clean our own rooms before we left! Even though we wern't the only noisy people there.. The cleaningladie brought clean towels, but a few of the "clean" ones were actually dirty..

Unique Quality: facilities: Not anything special really, the rooms were to small for 4 persons, okay for 2.. the rest of the hotel was pretty okay, a hotelbar, and a diningroom, 6 floors..
pool: a very small, icecold pond, one out-of-order jaccuzi and a poolbar which was closed all the time.
view: west; a abandoned worksite which now was used as a trashpit, and straight in to other people's hotelrooms.. east; buildings, buildings and buildings, farv a away a lighthouse and between the houses the sea..
personel: very unfriendly, sometimes even mean and angry.
