convenient hotel
This hotel is in the middle of the highroad between Barcelona and Zaragoza. The restaurant is in the middle of the bridge up in the highroad. Breakfasts are served in the same hotel.
convenient hotel
This hotel is not expensive and the food is delicious. The cooker prepares you the meats and fish in front of you and you can eat as much as you want. It is just close to the beautiful beach of Roses.
wonderful hotel and food!
Hotel apartment. Every room has kitchen and refrigerator. All the rooms have view to the beach or to the swimming pool. The restaurant is self service system and the drinks are included.
nice and clean
You can find shelters (locally known as 'refugios) for walkers and climbers around most of popular areas. They're mostly run by mountaineering & walking organizations. Acommodation is often, not always, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Prices per person range from zero to 12Eur.
Many refugios have a bar and offer meals, as well as cooking area (but not cooking equipment). Blankets & pillows are usually provided.
Very pleasant
Lloret de Mar is a little Miami Beach or Acapulco.
This tourist resort is located at 60 kilometres north of Barcelona, in the Costa Brava, and is a paradise for young tourists from England, Holland and Italy that spend the nights in the many discos drinking without coercion dozens of beers in the beach.
During the mornings there are many tourist activities, such as banana boats, parachute (this is my preferred activity when I go there with Paula, my Spanish daughter), the water world attraction, etc.
There is a spectacular boat service connecting regularly many tourists resort in the Costa Brava with a magnificent view of the villages at a cheap price, from Malgrat de Mar to Blanes, Lloret de Mar, Tossa de Mar, etc.
There are 365 hotels in Lloret de Mar, all at very popular prices, especially in the low season. I use to go to the Grand Garbi, located at 100 metres from the beach. It has an enormous swimming pool, excellent free service restaurant plus flamenco shows every night.
The staff was super friendly and it was very clean. Breakfast was free every morning (and it was more than just bagels!). They also offered spa treatments for a good price.
Sorry, I did not write down the exact location for this place or keep a phone number. But it was about a 10 minute walk from the beach.

This funky, unique hotel is wonderful for those who love good design. The hotel has a tower and battlements, a wonderful garden (with a nymph in the flowerbed), a lovely terrace, 2 sitting rooms and a library. The staff are amazing (the dog is massive and soppy). It's on one side of the medieval bridge with great views... oh it's just perfect.
I worked with Cal Sastre - Janina the landlady is lovely, the rooms are comfortable and filled with antiques and the garden is beautiful. The restaurant near the hotel is also wonderful.
This was a wonderful place to stay, it was like a tropical garden. You can either bring your own accommodation with you or rent out bungalows or apartments. It is situated next to a beach in a very quiet location, the German owners were lovely, could not do enough to help.
The showers & toilets here were just amazingly clean & very well decorated. The only minus point I have about this site is they bizarrely had caged monkeys in one area, pointless & cruel.
