hi caitie,I see no one has replied re. your travel problems. Well...the fact is,getting from Girona to L'estartit is a LOT quicker, as it is only about 40 minutes by taxi,ata cost of about 35 pounds.The taxis at the airport show you the cost,and they have to stick to it by law (our family friend is a police officer,and lives in lestartit ) From Barcelona you have to get a taxi or a bus from the airport to the bus station,wait for a bus,which will get you to estartit,but calls at every resort on the way,making it at least four hours till you get to estartit. Great if you want to see all the small towns etc,but TIRING..anyway, enjoy your holiday,take time to get out of estartit into the small villages and historic(really) towns,we go nearly every year,and have plans to retire there..eventually...hope this has been of some use to you. tony rigby
