Felipe
The poet León Felipe was born in Tábara (Zamora) in 1884; he studied pharmacy, but he left his job and joined up an itinerant theatre company; in Madrid he lived a bohemian life. Subsequently he lived in Guinea, Mexico and USA; he came back to Spain during the Civil War in 1936, and was exile in Mexico since 1938. He died in 1968.

El poeta León Felipe nació en Tábara (Zamora) en 1884; estudió farmacia, pero abandonó su profesión y se unió a una compañía de actores ambulantes; en Madrid vivió en la bohemia. Posteriormente vivió en Guinea, México y Estados Unidos; regresó a España durante la Guerra Civil en 1936, y volvió exiliado a México en 1938. Murió en 1968.
