Costa Brava,booming busy beaches
"Guarantee for a holiday "romance""
Yes, I admit. Once - to know what I had so many critics against - I had a holiday in Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava and I must say that I liked it (to do once). The coast is realy beautiful, the weather (almost) always perfect and going inland, you can even meet Spanish people (along the coast it is rather hard to find them between the Dutch, German, English, Italian, yes even French and many other nationalities). The life at this costa is exhausting. Duting day watersports and picking up girls at the beach to go out until deep, deep in the night. After ten days you are broken and transported back to your homeland like a sack of potatoes. Despite this, you can also entertain yourself with some nice excursions. Inland to some lovely winehouses, a boattrip along the rough coast (what Costa Brava actually means). And then there's the Catalonian capitol Barcelona. Sigh, Barcelona - oh, I so much wished to have visited it then, but it is high ranking in my places to be soon. I just have to see La Sagrada Familia and many other buildings of my favorit architect A.Gaudi. So wait a little and I can tell you also about that city ...
