Transfer Girona to Lloret

by bigjobby

How much would a taxi (from the taxi rank) be for 2 people from the airport to Lloret? I've seen prices around €32, but is the per person or per journey? I had had a price for a private transfer and that is £26 per person each way, thats more than the flight. I went on the resort hopper the other week and it took 2 and 1/2 hours EACH way!!! Not doing that again.

Thanks

prices around 30-35€ seem fair, and these will be per trip, not per person. Taxis in Spain are metered so total price may vary depending on traffic conditions, and there will be an airport fee of a few €. You can calculate a rough estimation of 1€ per Km.

But.... why to pay so much if there is a regular bus service operated by 'Sagales' between Girona airport and Lloret de Mar??

It takes only 35 minutes. I could not find the prices, but given this same company takes you to Barcelona for 21€ return trip.... to Lloret should be cheaper

Thanks for the info, the only problem is the timing. I arrive from Blackpool around 16:00 and the bus is 18:30. I suppose after waiting for cases it wouldn't be too long a wait.

i would book with keytransfers.com

from gerona airport costs around 17.00 per person which is reasonable.

Travel Tips for Lloret de Mar

Two different languages

by Propermark

Here in Lloret De Mar as in the rest of Catalunya region people speaks two languages: Catalan and Spanish Castilian. I've always studied Castilian but I have to say that Catalan was more similar to Italian language and maybe to Sicilian dialect.... strange but true!
