"Malgrat de Mar"
A coastal town, Malgrat de Mar is situated in the southern portion of the Costa del Maresme. Its coarse sand beach forms the backdrop for a calm sea which is ideal for all sorts of water sports. The Sant Nicolau de Bari Parish Church, a large building, is known as "the Cathedral of the Coast". It's very pleasant to take a walk through the square Plaça de l'Església, the street Carrer del Mar and the Can Campassol gardens. The bustling street Carrer Sant Esteve, which is the commercial hub of the town, boasts very interesting homes surrounded by gardens, such as the Torre de l'Esquena or the Torre de Rossinyol, the modernist Torre de Ca l'Arnau and the Old Hospital (founded for the poor in 1443, it was built on the foundations of an even older "masia" or farmhouse) with its Gothic chapel. Malgrat de Mar is a summer destination resort which today sports a good number of modern hotels, apartments, campgrounds, and a complete range of services.

Malgrat de Mar is a typical Catalan town with a local weekly market. The local holiday towns Santa Susanna and Pineda de Mar are a short drive along the coast.

It is well known for it´s beaches, it´s cute little town and the outlet of the river Todera. Close by we can also find a beautiful maintain area. In the summer time it counts with a variety of fun things to do.
