The town of Castell – Platja d'Aro i S'Agaró, as part of its wide range of attractions, offers the possibility of practicing a multitude of sporting activities in public municipal installations (Sports and Congress Pavilion, Auditorium, Municipal Football Field...) or private installations (bowling, golf, tennis, swimming pool...).
During the year the Department of Sport and Youth organises a considerable range of activities to encourage physical and sport activity on an ongoing basis (Municipal Football School, Multi-sports Program, Beach Fun...) or special events (20 and 10 Km walks, Swimming, Beach Rugby 7x7...).
Apart from the municipal initiative a large number of sports clubs open their doors to active participation in numerous proposals of various types, making sporting activities an active choice for leisure.
