There are direct buses from Reus Airport to Salou. It takes about 35 minutes.
Check it for schedules.
I would like to take my 78yr old dad to Salou who is almost wheelchair bound now. Can anyone recommend a good hotel for use with a chair. I will be doing all the pushing so I need as flat as poss, close to all amenities etc. We are flying from Birmingham if anyone knows of a good package company etc. We hope to travel in August sometime.
I've been to Salou twice with my family and we are going back again this year. We love it!!! We are staying in the same accommodation which is called "Cye Holiday Centre" its an Aparhotel. Its on the flat in a lovley area approx 10 min stroll from shops, restaurants etc. Its virtually on the flat and all paths to it are in good condition. The complex has two lifts (which I never remember being out of order - if only for cleaning) wheelchair toilets and wheelchair ramps around the large pool area. All in all very accessable for your Dad. It is a family complex so allow for children, kiddies club etc, having said that its still a safe, reasonably quiet, spotlessly clean fantastic place to stay. Highly recommended. The downside is that a railway is near, we were concerned at first but being honest the noise is minimal because the complex is surrounded with high shrubary.
