Hi will be in Salou next week with our 3 young kids 7,8,9, so we want to bring them to portaventura and are wondering should we buy from the hotel we are staying or is it cheaper to buy elsewhere, is there other places to bring the kids when in Salou.This is our first holiday togehter so could do with some nice tips,we are staying Cye holiday center.
We really want to make it the best time of their lives so welcome any tips to help us achieve that.

if port aventura proves too expensive ( or too big and crowded) there is also a smaller Aqua park in La Pineda just down the coast from Salou which isn't as big but may be OK - it hd dolphins and other animals there last time we went - although it was a few years ago

Bus Stop bar on Avinguda d'Andorra sells (or did sell when I was there) a beer called 'Shag' which I can imagine is pretty popular for its name alone.
Bus Stop was a haunt of my girly holiday and closed for refurbishment on my couples holiday - probably a good thing because there were some lush barmen here the first time round! ;-)
