Price and entrance fees for portaventura.

As I and my family are going to Salou in July is it advisable to buy the tickets beforehand ,a lot of travel agents sell the 3 days for the price of 14. This would be suitable for my 2 teenagers, however for my hubby and myself and our 5yr old I was thinking of paying as and when we go, I think I read on 'holidays uncovered' it is £8 per person to get in, but what average prices are the rides. I'm a scaredy cat and will prob go on virtually nothing!

OK, you can get a 14 days pass from £56 and avoid entrance queues (offer only for UK customers), or you can buy a day pass (35 euros) or 2 days pass (53,50 euros) on the spot (prices for only Port Aventura park, not including Costa Caribe, got them from the official site: http://www.portaventura.com). The rides are included on the entrance fee. It seems clear the UK offer is better, unless you plan to go there less than 3 days.

Don't know from where they get the price of £8. I went there many years ago and it was already more expensive than this price.

Thanks Belsaita. That sounds really reasonable considering the prices we have to pay in the UK. My brother is just back from the Regina Gran in Salou the same hotel we have booked and says it is the best he has stayed in which is great news. Enjoyed your travel pages. How do you say 'hasta la vista' or the equivalent in Catalan?

isaw a pub on the road to cambrils (near the esmeralda apartments ) advertising BIG BROV LIVE EVERY DAY! not sure which pub it was but the sign was clearly visable from the road. you can get any bus from salou to cambrils ( 1 euro 20 ) get off in vilafortuny ask for the stop by molly mallones .. the bar is around there somewhere, there is also a micheal angelo supermarket next to it hope it helps you...

Just back fr. salou. The GEORGE AND DRAGON pub though I don't know whereabouts you are staying,screen BIG BROTHER live every night THEY ALSO HAVE A HAPPY HOUR BETWEEN 9.30-1O.30PM. We stayed at Regina Gran and it is down a bit from there towards the centre area.
