The Mediterannea area of the park is the first area you arrive in. It's set out in great and accurate detail... themed around a typically Mediterranean fishing village, although the sea in this instance is a lake. There aren't any rides here except the Station for the steam train that circles the park... (a great way to get your bearings on your first visit is perhaps take this.) Also here is the dock for the boat ride ride which takes you from Mediterranea to China ( one way trip only... either way).
In the high season and other special events a Finale show is featured over the lake... an awe inspiring event featuring music, fireworks, lasers, kites, speedboats and a carnival procession of watercraft depicting each of the Lands within the park. Not to be missed!!! ... get a place to view early, about 20 mins minimum, as it soon fills up.
