salon after salon oozed charm ,taste,style and distinction but the bedrooms were comfortable but functional.
The real resistance piece was the gardens and if only they had put a pool in one of the corners this wiould be the place to be.Breakfast was served out here in its lovely gardens

Unique Quality: For its size and style the lack of a swimming pool was amazing.
lots of artwork ,originals tucked into all saloon walls and staircases.lots and lots of originality.

Directions: along from the railstation,takes up an entire block

saving up to go back,lovely hotel with real comfortable beds and great lounges adorned with art work and a lovely outdoor garden where breakfast can be had.

Unique Quality: The staff were great yet unobtrussive.Certainly knew there town and the romantic which lives up to its name in every way was at the centre of it and real handy for amenities.

This hotel has a bohemian feel to it. All the public areas are adorned with statues and paintings, many donated 30 years ago by artists staying there in lieu of cash.

The bar is especially delightful, cool airy and relaxing.

The garden is where breakfast is served - rows of lovely tables for two under the shady trees.

Unique Quality: All the rooms are simple and different. There is no air conditioning and some road noise, but everything else makes up for that.

A few minutes walk to the beaches, bars and shops, and very convenient for the train station.
