Night busses

by Razz29

Hi there,

does anyone know where the night busses leave from the centre of Barcelona? And they don't run in off season. When does the tourist season start? I am leaving on the 12th June.

Thanks!

Razz

night buses to where?

if you mean regular urban night buses, most stop in Plaça de Catalunya, begining the journey there on just as stop on their way. So, it depends on where you are and where ar you going, they are just as normal buses but that run at night :)

Have a look at http://www.tmb.net/en_US/barcelona/moute/horaris/horaris.jsp#
(Night buses link at the bottom, left)

When does the tourist season start? Good question. Nowadays, we locals wonder if there is a "non-tourist season" here. There is tourist season, hight tourist season, and awfullycrowdedbytourists season...

I'm sorry I mis-read your question

I though you were asking about night buses IN barcelona

The buses to Sitges depart from Pl. Catalunya and there is one every hour (ask at the tourist office for exact details). Yes they do run off season, as there is people living in Sitges all year round. However, 12th of June may be a bit early for the beach

Travel Tips for Sitges

TOURIST OFFICE

by arlequin_g

There are two Tourist offices in Sitges. There is one very close to the train station. Once in the square in front of the station take the street Av. Artur Carbonell to the right, then take the firts street on the right and you’ll see it in the next corner on the left. The other office is in the old side, between the church and the Maricel museum.

El Pati Blau (The Blue Patio)

by Labrix

This is no only a "patio", it's the last typical “patio” of Sitges. Besides, this place inspired the painting with the same name by the famous Catalonian artist Santiago Russinyol and gave place to a theatre play as well.

Quaint buildings

by mikey_e

There is not a whole lot to see in Sitges if you're coming to the town for art or siteseeing, but one of the greatest pleasures is simply wandering about and admiring the charming houses. The whitewashed walls and iron work on the windows and balconies are prettiest if you head to the old part of town, near the church and up to Plaça Cap de la Vila

"sitges"

sitges is nice beach town about 30 miles south of barcelona. it has a long promenade with the beach on one side and bars and cafes on the other. it reminded me very much of south beach in miami. on weekends it is quite crowded with visitors from barcelona.

Fin de semana en Sitges

by Roman4

"Intro"
