The streets of Sitges have a competition about wich one has the most beauful carpet made with flowers. The neighbours spend all the night working on them and the result it's spectacular.
The dates changes every year, but the celebration of the Corpus it's about May/June. In fact, the Corpus day it always a Thursday and, in a beginning, the flowers carpets were made this day. But since some years ago, they do it the Sunday after the Corpus day, then everybody can enjoy with this tradition.
The Shopping

Come the evening, and the streets of Sitges fill with people. There are a number of nice streets with wonderful shops throughout Sitges. If you're looking to get a little shopping done, check out Sitges before you rush off to Barcelona. You might find something very nice.
Cau Ferrat

Built in 1893 as a residence for Santiago Rusiñol, Cau Ferrat incorporates Gothic windows taken from the nonextant Sitges castle that once existed on the site. Cau Ferrat is adjacent to Maricel de Mar.
Sitges in short

Sitges, locates 1/3 of the way from Barcelona to Tarragona is a busy coastal town. There are some picturesque views of the marina and the church on the rocks. There are several long beaches, restaurants, bars, clubs and hotels that cater to European tourists.
