The Esplanada de Espana is a most unusual promenade. Bordered on both sides by palm trees, the multi-coloured marble walkway - designed in a geometric pattern - is a walk that might best be taken before a meal with alcoholic accompaniments.
Otherwise its rolling design might make you think you were at sea.
But if you keep your ahead about you it can be a a very pleasant walk along the front close to the pleasure boat harbour..
