Nh Cristal

I frequently stay in nH hotels when I travel in Spain because the quality of service is good if not excellent, and the pricepoint is right.

The nH Cristal in Alicante is right in the center of things, a 5 minute walk to the explanada and beach, and I'd highly recommend it to visitors to Alicante. Skip the food, because in my mind it's a rip-off compared to what you can find a few doors down the street, but the accommodations are great because of things like bathtubs in each room, wifi, free morning newspapers, flexibility at the check in desk. I left the cleaning people tips and they wouldn't accept them. Feels like a four star.

Unique Quality: Right smack dab in the center of everything. Quick walk to the train station, central market, the barrio, musuems, the rambla, and the Principal Theatre.

Directions: Price is 55 euros on weekdays, 95 on weekends.
