More about Beni Beach Apartments
Loved the Beni Beach
Just arrived back 15th of June after 10 nights at the Beni Beach, the apartment was fantastic upgraded to a 3 bedroom instead of 2 loads of room everything nice and clean huge sealed balcony with great view over the beach. Staff helpful and friendly no complaints about the hotel at all only downfall being the location if you want any nightlife. there is afew local bars that are alright for the day espeicially hendrys nice food and reasonable prices, i don't recommend the Snooty Fox worst chicken and mushroom i have ever tasted. If you go out of the back door and walk down the hill past Burger King cross the road you can catch a number 8 bus to the new town where you find all the good bars, entertainment and cheap drinks. Me and the family would go back to the Beni Beach and recommend it to any one wanting good self catering apartments in a quiet location.
THE WELCOMING BENI BEACH APARTMENTS!
Our family of five stayed at the Beni Beach in August 2004. Although the apartment was a lot bigger than we anticipated it was very basic. There are TVs in the room but you have to high them by the week and having done this we discovered that you couldn't view it because the channels were fuzzy. Being a 27 storey apartment block the pool was so small it was impossible to spend any quality time there with the children. And we were put off after hearing that another holidaymaker had found a dead rat in the pool. The cleaning of the apartment was none existent. The corridors were filthy. We found that cleaners would leave rubbish by the lifts for in excess of four days after people had vacated. One concern we did have was when you could only use two of the oven rings (the other two would blow the fuses) we were told it was because of health and safety. This smelt to us like faulty wiring. We had to vacate the apartment by 10am on the day we left. Our coach didn't pick us up until 9.30pm. No provision was made for us to have somewhere to clean up before travelling home. The only shower available to us was the one down at the pool in front of the other holidaymakers. On a last note, the Beni Beach staff were far from friendly. We would have got more of a warm welcome from a block of ice than we ever got from the staff there.
We liked Benidorm and the apartment, but we would never stay there again or advise anyone else to do so.
Beni Beach the best!
Have recently returned from a 2 week stay at these apartments, have stayed there 3 times this past year, for me they represent superb value for money. We had a 2 bed apartment on the top floor, with stunning views to the front, side and rear of the whole resort, its one of the tallest buildings on the playa poniete and the views are absolutely magnificent, the added bonus being the beach is just across the road.
Many people find the this side of the resort a little too quiet, and some families were annoyed because they were unaware the beach front door is locked from 1am for security reasons, which means if you are not in by 1am there is a long walk around the back to the reception area for access, this is equivalent to walking up 8 flights of steps, but If you enjoy good sea views and superb access to the beach in a quieter area of Benidorm then these apartments and the Hotel Poseidon Playa which is just a couple of minutes walk along the road, are ideal.
visited the beni beach on a allocation on arrival we found these apartments to be clean, pleasant staff and a great location, just beside beach. we would definately visit again and would recommend the beni beach to friends and family.
My family and I loved the Beni Beach Apartments, friendly staff great views, but you pay for what you get. It was cheap and cheerful but we had a great stay. A bit dubious about the safe and security deposits but thats all. The Poniente playa is full of nice little bars and restraunts, our favourite was the Rock Bar, run by Jim and Susie great food and plenty of it and nice people too.
we will be back to Benidorm and the Beni Beach
OK I suppose
Stayed at Beni Beach from 3rd to 17th July 04. Not the worst place but definately not the best. Cheap & Cheerful with great views of the med & peacock island. Be very wary of thieves in Benidorm as this is rife and unfortunately not mentioned at the welcome meeting. Holiday reps not much help. One unfortunate couple had a large amount of cash and jewelery stolen after the lady left her bag under the table of an outside bar next door to Beni Beach appts. They were left literally peniless until they could get more money wired to them. Hotel staff / holiday rep offered next to no assistance. Refused to refund forty pounds deposit in order that this couple could sustain themselves until more money arrived. My wife assisted. Would hope someone would do the same for us. Great resort but be CAREFUL! Would not stay at Beni Beach again. Have a great Hol !! Watch out for trained dog which goes under table and barks. Owner scoops up dog along with your belongings !!
Good basic accommodation
Recently returned from a week at Beni Beach Apartments on 7th August 2004. Had a good week, weather great. Apartments basic, clean for a start, but no cleaning takes place while you are there. No toilet rolls, towels changed only once in the week.
Apart from that had a great time, pool small, but nice, grassy area kept clean by the apartment staff. Not much selection for meals at the bar, only baguettes or pizzas.
Rooms are large with a large balcony that are partly enclosed, apparently all apartments have ocean view, which is beautiful. High apartment!!
Be careful of where you meet the bus for your journey home as an English couple went to the wrong place and missed their bus!! The collection point is down on the beach.
not so good
ok where to start. The Beni beach is situated in a residential area, the facilities are poor no entertainment very little to do in the area, set back from resort a fair bit. Just returned from 2 weeks weather 4/14 days cloudy and overcast. Pool not good at all, set back away from hotel no sunbeds. Resort dirty and shops sell same old stuff mosly rubbish.
On a good note receptionsist were very friendly and nice most english.
ok PLEASE look after the cats if your an animal lover, take some cat food, we fed 17 cats a night in the area we were , they are not dirty or flea ridden but gentle cats who need some food and love. Dont be afraid of them. These poor animals feed from dustbins!!! PLEASE HELP THEM. If you pass by the hotel Villa Del Mar please look out for a tiny white kitten (night mostly) and her black companion they are so small and need to be fed and talked too. This tiny white kitten is amazing please look out for her. She needs some love . we are looking to contact any cat charities in Benidorm to let them know about theses lovely cats. Up the ramp from Burger kIng half way up the hill there is a small alley with a set of bins on the right , you will find 5 male cats who also need feeding, they are very shy and will not hurt you, (look at night time). PLease if you love cats feed them. The only things we will miss from Benidorm is the weather and these lovely homeless cats. PLEASE HELP THEM. Thank you.
Terra Mitica was ok but very spread out too must space, some great water rides though.
Aqua park worth a visit too. Beach and sea lovely.
We would not go back to Benidorm or the Beni beach.
It is NOT a 3 star property at best maybe a 1 rooms are a bit dirty, all over look the sea. Towels and sheets changed 2 times in 2 weeks!
Not so good
Returned from a fortnight in Beni Beach on 24/7/04 & would never return, nor recommend it to anyone. Apartment was filthy so we chose to eat out for ALL meals which wasn't cheap. With no sound proofing & all doors & windows in our apartment closed, we could hear a full normal volume conversation from the next apartment, which resulted in not much sleep at all in the first week & very little in the second. Rep took 40 Euros from my daughter to swim with sea lions, when the price was only 35, we then had problems getting a refund. Rep charged 25.5 Euros to book our seats together on our return flight, which didn't happen - again we had problems getting a refund at the airport, but insisted & got it in the end. Apartments were too far from Levante to walk & taxis cost around 5 Euros to get there, so budget for that as well. Views are breathtaking from all apartments & block has promenade access, which were the only good points to the place. Found local Reg's Bar to serve the best breakfast & meals around, friendly staff & reasonable prices & only local place we found to serve you a hot breakfast, before your tea went cold.
Playa Poinente Benidorm
Hi, does anyone know when the construction work along the beach at Playa Poinente in Benidorm is likely to be finished, it is looking really tatty and brings the whole area down, will it be finished by the summer season?
Re: Playa Poinente Benidorm
Hi, having spent Easter week in Benidorm and seeing the state of the front on the Poniente, I would suggest not. The week we were there we only saw 2 men working on it. Why do they have to dig the full length of the front up and not just sections? It has created a right mess and disruptions to traffic. My sister was staying in the Beni Beach apts, not to be repeated, and it impacted on them a lot.
Re: Playa Poinente Benidorm
I live on the poniente, (not literally) and so do my parents and the expected completion time is july31st!! somehow dont think it will, what with all the fiestas and weekends they dont work!!
But if its not completed by that date then they will have penaltys imposed for not completing!!
Hope that helps
