In the Plaza Triangular, at the Benidorm Centre end of the Avenida Mediterráneo and just in front of the huge rubber tree is a tourist office kiosk. Ask them for a copy of the map showing the routes and numbers of the urban bus service including those out of town. The timetable of all routes is included. We think you will find it really useful.
They have plenty of glossy brochures on the area too.

Can any one tell me the best place to get the best rate when changing mony in Benidorm.

I hear that banks always have the best rates, and watch out for exchange house that charge large service fees. I usually use a ATM now and get the local currency. It's coinvenence and I do not like to carry much cash. Cheers Tommy x
Yes, the Nationwide Flex debit card does seem to be a good option (and I have friends in Benidorm who use that) though some Spanish bank machines charge you a commission on top as though you are using a credit card. I stick to using la CAM (Caja de Ahorros Mediteranea) with my Nationwide debit card. If you don't have a card, you can take sterling to Spain and try to find
Also, I sometimes bring sterling from the UK and tell my friends and contacts in Spain that I want to buy euros. Often there is someone who wants to travel to the UK. Then I use a XE online currency converter to find a fair rate of exchange. You might try speaking to the language academies, who send lots of students to the UK for summer English courses, though many Spanish people prefer to use plastic in the UK, refusing to acknowledge that they are paying through the nose.
Another interesting place to see in Benidorm,is Parque de Elche,it is located just in front of Poniente Beach,and also is close of Benidorm Harbour.There are inside of the park a lot of plants and palm trees.This is a nice place to have a rest after being walk for a long time for old town or beaches.
