Hi to all. Im off to Finestrat in a week. I believe its just outside of Benidorm? Can anyone give me details about this place, ie where to eat, drink. Can you walk into Benidorm or is it too far? thanks v much!
Are you staying in Finestrat or Cala Finestrat? Both are only about 3 miles from Benidorm. Let me know where you are staying and I can probably tell you more about eating out and transport to Benidorm.

Not sure of public transport if you are inland. Inland is about 5 minutes drive from Cala Finestrat Bay where there are buses every 5 minutes into Benidorm No.5 into Old Benidorm and No.12 into the Levante part of Benidorm. There are a few bars around Cala Finestrat Bay where you can eat. A good place for a meal is Bizzie Izzies which is on the main street and not around the bay (closed from 5 p.m Sunday until 10.00 a.m Tuesday. It's a nice relaxing atmosphere around the bay. Both Spanish and English.
And of course,don´t miss a visit to the capital of the province: ALICANTE,.Here you can see a lot of interesting places,as: CASTILLO DE SANTA BARBARA,MUSEO ARQUEOLOGICO,PUERTO,PASEO DE LA EXPLANADA,and lots more!.As well has very good beaches,Hotels,Restaurants,and Shoppings Centres!.In this picture, you can see the Harbour,and La Explanada Sea Promenade!.
This is a night view of Cala de Finestrat,located just outside of Benidorm.That beach belongs to the twon of Finestrat and is another nice place to go during summertime because is a quiet beach.Around you'll find also a few nice restaurants with specialities in local cuisine and fresh fish dishes.
