Flamingo? not if your on a diet!

My Wife & I have just returned from 7 nights at the Flamingo Benidorm. Probably the outstanding feature is the food. Judging by some of the other guests figures they had been before! Plenty to choose from & the quality was very good. We found the service both in the bar, and the hotel in general, effient & good natured. All the public areas where clean, which was quite a feat as the hotel was very busy. As a safety feature no glasses are allowed either outside (pool area) or in the bedrooms. Drinks are served in plastic containers for these areas. The nightly entertainment was probably on a par with most hotels, watchable but not brilliant. The rooms are bigger than most having a lounge area & small kitchen. The decor could have been better, and the furniture very basic. All in all not really 4 star material as suggested by a previous review, but if you like your food & a drink worth a try.
Great 3 Star Hotel

Just returned from a 5 night all inclusive break at the flamingo benidorm. From the minute we checked in until we left we had a great time. Rooms are actually a bedroom, living room, kitchenette and bathroom along with a huge balcony. They were cleaned every day by the time we returned from breakfast. Never stayed all inclusive before and we were pleasantly surprised with the excellent food and drink we had here. Only about a 15 minute walk from the seafront which is beautiful. Do visit the old town of Benidorm as it has a lot of character as well as a day trip to Altea which is a 1 Euro bus ride away (ask reception where to get bus). The Market is also within a 10 minute walk from the hotel and is on Sunday and Wednesday, would definitely recommend it, a great way to spend a few hours. I have to give a mention to one of the waiters in the dining room called Dennis, his customer service alone is fantastic, he goes round all the tables chatting and smiling and makes everyone feel so welcome. Although it rained the entire time we were in Benidorm the hotel is like a mini holiday resort in itself, plenty to do. So if you are thinking about visiting I would so recommend, its great!
Absolutly Fantastic

Me and five friends stayed at the flamingo benidorm at the end of april 2006. Where do I begin? Firstly the hotel was spotlessly clean, friendly efficient staff, great pool and seating area large enough to accomodate all those who want to sit around the pool. The food was magnificent and served buffet style, as soon as the food started getting low someone was there to fill up the trays with more food, the choice of food was also fantastic, wether you wanted a light snack such as soup or a toasted sandwich, or a larger meal such as roasts with all the trimmings, although there were no children in our party we did notice that there was an area where there was a choice of childrens food for those kids that didn't like what was on the menu. The bar was also great serving anything from tea and coffee to a margareta, another great point was that there was bottled water available from the bar meaning you didn't have to go out and carry large bottles of water back to the hotel. The entertainment was average ranging from singers, disco, kareoke all the usual for all inclusive. There are plenty of bars just a short walk from the hotel most of them with a party atmosphere, the beach is also a short 10 minute walk away from the hotel with gorgeous white sand, and a large market at the weekend.
Well the list of compliments for this hotel could go on and on but I would have to set up my own web page to list them all, all I can say is if you are looking for a great holiday this is definatly the place to go. Last but not least the only thing left to say is that this hotel does not deserve the 3 star rating that it currenlty holds it should without a doubt be a 5 star hotel, just go and see for yourself.
Loved it

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and we find it to be excellent, reading the reviews I find that everyone has different tastes and standards.
We thought the food here was excellent, the best food we have ever had from a hotel, we also found the all inclusive very good aswell for our son who was non stop lollies and pop all day, towards the end of the holiday he was going upto the bar and asking for his own drinks and lollies!!!
We have booked again for March 2006 and taking our friends.
We thought the entertainment was great, some were a bit corny but it was entertainment and it happenend every night.
All in all a great hotel and it cost us alot cheaper than £3000 grand. If you shop around and book separate you can get this hotel so much cheaper our friends have 3 kids and there are 2 adults and they are going all inclusive for just under £1000, so I would say its well worth it.
best all inclusive ever

I loved this hotel!! Being a travel agent i looked into this hotel and read all reviews and anyone saying it was horrible dont no what they are going on about!! I thought it was bril went with my friend for a girlie holiday and both said we would go again the hotel is right near everything so if you dont drive (like us) you can walk everywhere. but as the other review said it's far enough so you can get a good night sleep if you dont like the sound off all the nightlife. I would also agree for everyone to try out the bull outside the the bar down the road although not naked like a certain someone while i was there!!
I enjoyed the holiday sooooo much that i'm going back again in march!! had so many photos but able to put on the internet. also the brochure pictures do nothing for the hotel.

First time I've ever been abroad where I've loved the hotel so much I'd recommend it! Food was absolutely fantastic, we ended up eating for the sake of it as couldn't turn any of it down - is the only problem going to this hotel as you're likely to gain weight! Hotel was spotless and service from all the staff was excellent. Have stayed in 4* hotels before and none were a patch on this one. Going back in the summer for a fortnight which is first time I've returned to a hotel. Was close enough to night life to make going out easy but far enough away that you didn't get the noise. Went on a girls holiday and had brilliant time but have friends with young children and I've recommended the place to them as well. All in all a top hotel that won't disappoint

"From the Airport"
The Flamingo Benidorm is located in the Levante Area of Benidorm. From the Airport you'll be able to rent a car or, if you take a taxi, it will cost around 60 EUR and take about 45 minutes to get here.
If you're travelling by car take exit 65 Benidorm (not 65A) on the A7 then, from the pay toll, drive down 5 sets of traffic lights to Avda. Europa junction with C. Ibiza. Here make a U turn and take the next right to enter C. Jaen. follow this road till the second crossroad. Turn left into C. Cuenca, 500 metres up the road on the right is the Flamingo Benidorm.
