i am taking my girlfriend to benidorm for her 18th birthday, staying at flamingo all inclusive hotel, i really need help in things to do to make it special for her, will it be nice warm weather?, does anyone know this hotel,oh were going on the 19th april, what excursions to take, are the clubs open what are the best clubs or pubs that will be quite livelly any info really needed thanks james
Which Flamingo Hotel are you going to? There is Flamingo Oasis, Flamingo Benidorm and Flamingo Playa, although not sure if this last one is AI or not. Anyway, all are good and in reasonable positions so not a problem!
The weather will be warm no doubt! as it is 16c here today (just looked out the window!) and starts warming up to the 20s in March.
Head for the Old Town for tapas and shoppping, and Calle Gerona (Gerona street) area for clubs, karaoke, discos, British bars etc etc. There are also the "bigger clubs" on the top road heading out of town, ie. Pacha, Penelope etc but expect to pay 20 quid to get in, should be open at least on weekends by April.
Excursions are plentiful, most can be done by yourself and public transport, for example there is Terra Mitica theme park, Aqualandia water park, Mundomar which is a "seaworld", train rides into the country, daytrip to Valencia (Spains 3rd largest city), Benidorm Palace (dance show) or Medieval Night (jousting on horses)for the evening excursions etc etc etc! Plus all the bars have free entertainment on, and the place will be getting busy with younger people by then - at the moment it's mostly over 60's!!
Hope you have a good time.... :-)
