hi we are thinking of visiting benidorm from 28th jan til the 6th of feb 2010 we are a middle aged couple and my partner has neer been. whats the weather like and will it be busy would love to bump into sticky vicky and her daughter!! many thanks
You are coming in the coldest period. The average temperature in Benidorm in January-February is 12-13ºC. During the day, the temperature can be 18ºC. Unless you happen to come during a week like this one: the mountains around Benidorm are covered with snow and night temperatures are 2ºC. But fortunately, this is not usual.

I am goin around the same time aswell and also wanted the same type of info, about the reply that you have already got,... thats sure warmer than what it is in England around that time of year so im a happy chappy :)
im a young lad just going with the grandparents to sort a job out over there and will hopefully be moving out there shortly after i get back but as il be on my own with the oldies, if anybody else will be there around the 26th january until 5th february on there own or in a small group it would be good to have people to get away for a few hours with :)
Normally mostly of the hotels that Benidorm has,are located on the two main beaches,or very close to them.Also you'll find a few small ones located on the old town.
Many people use to have a swim here even during wintertime,thanks to our nice and warm weather.Don't be surprised if you come here for a vacation on January or Febraury and see people having a swim in our beaches!. :-)
The Lemon Express is the name of a tourist train that dates back to the 1920's.
The train sets off from Benidorm and ends in Gata de Gorgos some hour and half later, passing through towns such as Altea, Calpe, Benissa and Teulada. In Gata you can wander around and maybe buy some of the local wicker products or visit the railway bar and shop. The outward journey is an opportunity to take in the scenery and take some pictures. The highlights will be pointed out to you by your guide and on the return journey the fun starts with a champagne party with music.
The train can be booked through tour operators or your hotel and your ticket will include pick up to and from the station.
