Not a young person's destination (in the winter)
by FMoralesWettstein
The last time I was in Benidorm during the winter I was a good twenty years younger than the average person walking around! And I am considerably older (50) than you. I asked some of the local shopkeepers and they told me that Benidorm in the winter was very popular for seniors tours. I'd try Calpe, Denia, or Gandia...if I had my heart set on the Costa Blanca. Good luck. Summers when I was an Air Force member stationed in Madrid.
Terra Natura

This is a fairly new park, with all different kinds of animals. Elephants, hippos, monkeys etc all put into continent zones. The cages and park were immaculate, and all the animals looked very healthy. There were all different shows throughout the day. And when it got too hot there was a water park too cool off in. This was a brilliant day out and only about 10 minutes from our hotel, later in the season they were going to open a pool where you could swim with dolphins but this would cost extra. I think it was 20 euros each to get in to the park but worith every penny.
