Going to Benidorm this weekend, what is the currency exchange rate please?

by Joan40

Hi

Going to Benidorm this weekend. We normally change our money and Sheila's in the indoor market, Levante area.

With the pound not doing so well against the Euro at the moment, am I still better changing my money there? and does anyone know what the current rate is please?

Thanks
Joan

Hi

Tried it, it says the exchange rate is £ 1 = 1.27 euro. But in Manchester today the going rate you could change money at was 1.21 ?????

Still not really any wiser, would I be getting 1.27 euros to the pound in Benidorm, but only 1.21 if I changed it here before I go?

It would depend on the rate set by the business where you change your money.

If you have a credit or a debit card ATMs would probably give you the best rate.

Thanks Raz

Might either try ATM or Sheila's. She normally gives the best rate,

Thanks

That's just what I wanted to hear.

(About the rate - not necessarily about us having the Euro) LOL

Travel Tips for Benidorm

Why not try Valencia?

by benidormone

If you are in Benidorm I would recommend to visit the city of Valencia the city of architect Calatrava. It is only 144km from Benidorm. You can rent a car or go by bus.For bus information go to www.alsa.es,of course also lots of historical buildings and shops. For more information visit my Valencia page!!

City of Calpe

If you haven't been to Calpe, you haven't seen Costa Blanca. Worth for a day trip. Climb to rock of Penon de Ifach was a great experience. the views from 300m up, are superb! Thre is a train/bus connection from Benidorm and Alicante.
