Hi, I am going to Benidorm on the 26th of this month and wondered if anyone can tell me how to get from alicante airport to Hotel Presidente as cheaply as possible - please?? I am travelling with my elderly mother and wondered if there was a convenient way of getting from airport to hotel without costing over a 100 pounds (as quoted by private taxi)!! Thanks.
There is a public service tram that runs from the center of the city ( estación mercado ) till Benidorm and will be very much cheaper than the amount mentioned by you. I had the chance to see the tram yesterday and it is very modern and comfortable and offers great views along the coast, so well worth a ride. You can check their route at the following link

I have not mentioned the rate as it will be cheap. From the airport of Alicante you should have a lot of options by public transport or even taking a taxi till the mercado station in Alicante.

you could try resorthoppa
pick up and drop off as near to hotel as possible
cheaper than the taxi
try travel republic, they are really cheap, look them up on their website
if yo ubook through travelrepublic - you end up with resorthoppa anyway
we did a whole package last year with travelrepublic - hotel, flight and tranfers and it was resorthoppa so its cutting the midle man out going direct- and may save a few quid
Hi, I`m from Benidorm, mi mum its english, but i born here.
I think that the best option its a private transfer, if you are 1-4 person the price its 55 € (it`s very cheap, more than taxi) and the big car goes you at the Hotel Presidente in the same door. And its posible untill 7 person.
You can see the photo of the car in this web http://vero4travel.blogspot.com/ its in spanish the web, but you can write in the email in english for booking if you want. For me its the best option, the chofer wait you in the airport (terminal 1 or two) and goes you tu Hotel Presidente.
The prices, photos , email and number phone its in that web.
(its the same price the day at the night, always 55€ (1-4 person) 80 € (5-7 person) the taxi price`s its (65€ in the day) (75 € in the night).

I live near that hotel presidente, it`s a very good hotel, and near than playa Levante:), i hope than you are happy in Benidorm.

with two long beaches, all together, 5 km of sand and water, both, on summer months anyway, offers, lots and all kind of water sports. sailing, canoeing, water bikes and so on.
you'll find no cause for doing nothing.
along with parasailing,
ride an helicopter for the best overviews of Benidorm and its unique skyline,
and many others radical sports.
This is a summer day at Playa de Levante.As you can see is crowded of tourist looking for a nice sunbathe!!.Along all this beach,you'll find also a very nice sea promenade to have a nice stroll and see all nice and tall buildings.
