Country Club

We are lucky to have stayed at the Imperial Park a couple of times now as one of my husbands work colleagues owns an apartment there. It is a great place to stay and within easy driving distance to the town of Calpe (old and new) and the lovely beaches, and also the neighbouring spanish towns. There is a nice restaurant on site where you can get a nice meal on a self service basis, either hot or cold (salad bar) for around €7 per person and eat as much as you like. For people who book through a holiday company Imperial Park is now All Inclusive. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the compex is very clean. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment situated on two floors. The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine, cooker, toaster etc. I would highly recommend this complex especially for families with children as there is plenty to keep them occupied

Unique Quality: Imperial Park is situated on a hill so as you can imagine our apartments had breathtaking views out across to the Mediterranean as well as the El Fache rock which is a famous landmark in Calpe. The complex has five pools to suit all ages from small paddling pool to the bigger ones for the adults. There are plenty of sunbeds around for everyone and also a snack bar up by the top pool. There is also the internet available in the lounge and entertainment on most evenings. The area is not too highly developed unlike Benidorm which is situated to the West (personally not my cup of tea) You definateley need a car to get out and about and visit the many interesting little towns nearby. The complex also runs a mini bus which you have to pre-book that will take you into the town of Calpe and also bring you back at an arranged time. This only runs up to a certain time of the year while it is busy, I think it stops to be in use at the end of September or beginning of October. It is very useful for those who don't drive and if you want to go into Calpe in the evening for a drink. It does stop running about 18.30pm so this means you would have to get a taxi back late in the evening which doesn't cost too much, I think we paid €7 for four us.

Great Hotel Home with Children

What's wonderful are the condo's. Either a 1 or 2 bedroom. This way you could eat in or dirve to a wonderful sea side restraurant near the Penon de Ifach. The rooms all have a private terrace and a private sun deck with breathtaking views of the sea and down below. An auto is neccessary but there is a complimentary mini van that will take you down to Christopher Columbus Square in the center of Calpe. What really makes this resort special for children is the pool and a children's program. The pool has a slide just as grand as those in the water parks. the pool also had waterfalls that casade from one pool to the other. The children's program is at various times of the day broken down into different age groups. There is also a restaurant on the premises but nothing to speak of except for a bit to eat.

Unique Quality: Imperial Park is located on a hillside in the north of Calpe, in a peaceful residential area, but close to all the facilities of Calpe. A sandy beach, bars, restaurants, supermarket, medical facilities and night life are 3kms away. Terra Mitica, a theme park and Aqaualandia, a water park, which offers great family entertainment, is only 20kms away.
