"Beaches and Clubs"

We're staying at the El Rodat Hotel and have a great view over the bay. We've not been to the old town yet, but the beach area is nice. It's a small bay with very clean and clear water. The beach is a fine soft sand that is kept clean everyday and their are some palm trees for extra shade. A promenade extends along the length of the beach and there are plenty of bars, restaurants and gift shops to preuse along the way.
We went to the Calypso bar for drinks the night England played USA. It was a lot more fun than the result! They serve food, but it's bar food, so don't expect anything amazing. Later, we found a night club, Achill, a little further along. It has a patio that overlooks the bay and was a great place to dance or just chill.

IBIZA ISLAND

From Cabo La Nao,in a clear day,you may see the silohuette of the island of IBIZA,located on Balearic Islands about 100 miles away.Unfortunately during my visit the day was clear,but it was a little bit of fog inside the sea,if you enlarge the picture you will see the shape of that island.

SPRING IN JANUARY!

Along all the coastline on this area,you'll find a lot of pine trees forests on mountains and hills,but in fields you will find normally orange,lemons and many almond trees.Thanks to our nice and warm weather during wintertime,don't be surprised to see some of these trees in blossom even in January!.This photo was taken on January 23th and you can see all flowers on these almond trees.

JAVEA and Coastline of Alicante

"General View"

Javea is located on coastline at north of Alicante provice,between the Capes of Gata and La Nao.The city it is protected from winds for a high mountain located just behind the city,and it is called Macizo del Montgo.In part of Alicante province,and also in Valencia and Castellon provinces,we speak one second language called "Valenciano" the valencian name of Javea,it is "XABIA".Travelling for this part of Spain,you'll see all signs in roads writted in both languages.Sometimes just in spanish.

I'll show you on this page some interesting places to visit in Javea and also in all coastline of north of Alicante province,where Javea is located.
