Unfinished "Fallas"Paterna, my home
I live in Paterna (pop. 50,000), my wife's hometown.
It's just 5 km away from Valencia city, and it shares the traditions and festival of most towns in the province, including "Fallas", "Moros y Cristianos".
It also boasts its own pyrotechnic festival: "la Cordá".
One of the things I like the most about Paterna is its extensive farmlands, collectivelly known as "La Huerta", which we can see from our window.
Besides providing a nice view, it's also very pleasant to go walking through it's plantations of orage trees on a sunny afternoon.
