More about Torrevieja
A model made of salt.
We are going to Villa Martin, does anyone know if and where you can buy Halal meat?
Re: Halal Meat!!
will give you halal suppliers/mosques etc in Spain (click on 'more' at the bottom of the first listings).
You may find somewhere near where you are staying, or perhaps an Islamic centre which you can contact by email. I'm sure they will be happy to help with info.
Travel Tips for Torrevieja
It might be the same all over Spain, at least it was pretty awful in Torrevieja and Alicante.
Locals seem to park their car wherever they find it suitable. If there isn't enough free parking lots, they'll leave they car in the middle of the road or next to another parked car in that way that it's impossible that other car to leave. They'll leave their car without thinking much of other people and just leave the car's emergency lights blinking.
One funny parking situation was in a one-way street, where two cars were parked one centimeter away from each other and the heads of the cars were pointing at each other.
A 1355 meters overhanging structure near the recreation area supported on the eastern breakwater, provides a panoramic scenery. It is built of wood and steel , featuring five small squares with pergolas, which one of them stands the Patron of the Fishers.
Along the Paseo Juan Aparicio, next to Playa del Cura, you will find these artificial beaches with swim basins. Very good for non-swimmer and a wonderful area for those who love sunbathing or just to enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere.
My First Time In Spain...
When i went to Torrevieja, i went with....yeah you guessed it! My ol' Travel Buddy (VT Username J.I.M)! We went with his mum and dad. We got off at a small airport called murcia and stayed in a small apartment in Torrevieja. Each day we went a 20 minute drive to his uncle's villa, where we chilled, got some cold drinks, then went down onto the beach!
