A 3* hotel that was in a very good location.
About 5 mins from the train station, 10 mins by taxi from airport.
Near Plaza del Ayuntamiento, The Cathedral etc.
We paid 79 euros each for 2 nights twin room (no breakfast) - (2007)
- There is a nice bakers shop across from the hotel with sweet and savoury pastries, plus many cafes nearby that serve breakfasts. (see my restaurants tips)
Reception staff friendly/efficient- They recommended a restaurant for us, and booked it- (Restaurante du Ana)
The hotel was completely renovated in 2000.
81 rooms.
2 x lifts (Elevators)
Bar/cafeteria
Breakfast room-we didn't have breakfast here, but I think that it's buffet style.
No smoking in public areas- some rooms are none smoking.(Guess this might have changed now to No Smoking through-out)
Appeared to be popular with tour groups.(But this didn't cause us a problem)
We were very satisfied - pleasant hotel in handy location, with a small bar/ lounge which was a good place for us all 8 of us to meet up and enjoy a coffee / beer before going out for the day /night.
My room was quite spacious (507) and overlooked the street below.
Twin beds, wardrobe space, satelite tv, mini bar (good selection of spirits, beer, water, juices, olives, crisps, nuts), air con, safety deposit box.
Roomy bathroom with power shower over the bath, WC, bidet, heater, marble topped basin, hairdryer. Good towels.
Freebies- soap, shower gel, shower cap, nail file, sewing kit, shoe polisher, sponge.

Would certainly stay here again!!
A bonus? was being a prime spot for hearing La Crida - The start of Fallas!!
- We could see the crowd marching by, throwing down the firecrackers, then the rockets going off, as the explosions reached their climax. Watching the windows in the buildings opposite shaking was quite an experience-especially as at the time we didn't know what was happening!
