bell ringing
by anne_h
I don't know if the bells in the belltower of the main church are rung manually every day, but on this festival day they were--about 8 guys were up there pushing these huge bells! I don't understand how they did it without getting knocked in the head once in a while. It was very loud up there but not painful--as one of the ringers told me, "You hear it in your head but also in your heart."
La Mascleta

For someone afraid of the fireworks, can be a nightmare lol (yes thats my case hehehehe) but it was not as bad as I though it could be. For 20 minutes the only thing you could here were the fireworks at the Town Hall Square.
At the end you could feel the final fireworks on your feet, as if the paviment also enjoyed the festival.... Just incredible!
It is definitely a must ....
VALENCIA C.F.
by MaheshSamtani
Does not matter if you are or not a football / soccer fan. If you have a chance while you are visiting the city of Valencia and if there is a match - try to go for it. It is a magnificient experience. Not because I am a fan of Valencia, which I am proud to be so - but you will surely enjoy the game as the players are some of the best in the whole world. In recent history Valencia has won the Spanish league title twice, a UEFA cup and also was voted as the best club of the year , two years ago. It is one of the few stadiums that fill upto the brink whenever there is a match and being in a group with another 50.000 people is a real experience. You can find tickets of many prices, depending on the rival team is, but to make it simple go the the GENERAL area and you will enjoy a great experience. If you can afford to buy a ticket for a better location, better, even though it will not influence in the difference in satisfaction. The weather in Valencia is pretty mild throughout the year hence even if it is winter you need not go in heavy winter gear, just a sweater and a light jacket will protect you from the open. If in summer the best would be if you could get an official Valencia T shirt from one of the many stores that the club has throughout the city.

This is more for me...Many average priced shops in this Mall...Great for a bit of shopping. It has Mango, Zara, C&A and many other shops for almost any wallet :o)
It's right across the street from Kris Abadia hotel, another plus for it in that matter :O)
