Walk by the old riverbed. The old river crossed the city of Valencia but it overflew so many times that the Townhall decided to take it outside the city. In the old riverbed there is now a long park that cross the city.
You can cross the whole city by bike and arrive to the beach. It is great!

Café de Valencia
by belgianchocolate
'Café de Valencia' is something we had in
the coffee house at the 'Mercado de colon'.
-café fuerte , licor de naranja y limon -
A strong coffee with orange and lemon liqueur.
It is served in two different layers since the coffee
and the liqueur don't mix very well.
It has a special taste , you like it or you don't..
Sunset over Alberic
by doreenellen
We saw the most beautiful red sunsets on our recent trip to Alberic, near Valencia. The skies really stayed this red for quite a time. We stayed in the heart of the countryside which was very quiet and peaceful, just 3 miles from Alberic town. Alberic has a station where we caught the metro straight to Valencia. It is very spainish with all the usual bars and restaurants, town hall and a variety of shops.
Flamenco and Rhumba
by phred1910 about Al Alba
The elegance and passion of the flamenco are unrivaled in my experience. Seeing someone who knows the dance is an unbelievable experience. They say more with one movement, than I can with 100 words. There didn't seem to be one, but the locals were quite dressed up.
