Indiana Jones in English

by hkaur2002

Could someone please tell me where we can see the latest Indiana Jones movie in English in Valencia?

Re: Indiana Jones in English

by jezzabel

ive had a look at the webpages of the cinemas that play movies in original version here. im afraid that movie isnt in english in any of them. if you still want the links, for future movies, here they are:

- cines albatros y cines babel. these are two different cinemas but they share webpage. they always play movies in original version. you can check the movies where it says 'programación'
http://www.cinesalbatrosbabel.com/

- ugc cine cite - espai campanar. only some of the movies they play are in orginal version, and those are noted by VOS, that stands for 'version original subtitulada'
http://www.ugc.es/cinematheque/Cinematheque.jgi?TYPE=film

another place where they place movies in original version is 'la filmoteca'. the ticket costs around 1 or 2€ and they play old movies or movies by directors that are not too famous yet, etc. this is their website
http://www.ivac-lafilmoteca.es/pagina.asp?idpag=14

I'm sorry you cant see your movie in english. hope there's better luck next time.

Travel Tips for Valencia

The place where the fest spins

by Lalique

One of most beautiful, if not the most beautiful, squares in Valencia, where the past meets the present, where fests start to spin, where one can find consolation for ones soul, stomach and eye, where one can feel the citys vibes and the breath of history...

Las Fallas

by Beach_dog

Las Fallas is a large festival that takes place in Valencia every March. Large effigies of popular prominent pubic figures, politicians, popstars etc are built and at the climax of the festival burnt in the streets. Accompanied by many loud firework displays. I was actually in Valencia the week before the Fallas, but the festival was well under way, daily firework spectaculars were already under way with the Mascleta celebration.

What to bring and when to visit

by DanielF

The weather in Valencia is mild and sunny during the winter but it can get really hot and humid in mid summer, a season when you want to spend the whole day on the beach. Heavy rains (gota fr?a) may fall in October / november. But, they usually only last for a few days. Spring is probably the best time to visit, with pleasant temperatures and sunny days.

Local handmade products and antiques

by LovelyLucyLocket

The area of El Carmen is full of back streets, which in the afternoon become alive with shops filled with antique Spanish goods, glistening with gold, or intriguingly grubby. In other squares, hidden away are the shops where in the back, local artists use old techniques to make painted ceramics for reasonable prices. Take some time just to wander, and see what you find.

Taxi from airport

by suvanki

Taxis wait outside the Arrivals/ Departure Terminus, we paid 16 euros from the airport for the 10 minute journey to our hotel (Catalonia Excellsior) in the centre. It was 12 euros for the return journey!

There is an airport bus for about 3 euros which drops off in the centre too. (please see my previous tip)

When we returned to the airport, our hotel reception 'phoned for 2 taxis to take the 7 of us there.

Radio Taxi - 24 hour service Tel 00 34 34 96 3 703333
