This is a fairly standard 3 star hotel, well maintained, and comfortable, with a restaurant and bar. It doesn't offer tea and coffee making facilities in the room however, or room service. There is no hairdryer or iron in the room, but the hotel does offer a decent laundry and ironing service. There is a daily maid service. It is located on a main road, the Carrer de General Urrutia, with frequent bus routes into the city right outside. Although the buses stop relatively early, at about 10.30pm, a cab from the city to the hotel after a night out will only cost about €3. The hotel made a good base from which to explore the city and the beach areas of the city.
Unique Quality: The night receptionist, Victor, was a very friendly and helpful guy. He speaks 5 languages and used to live in Norway, so he has a very global outlook of his home city. He will give you tips on the best places to go and discuss anything from the local customs, to politics and cultural policy. He is also very grateful of a bit of conversation during his long nightshift from midnight till 8am.
Directions: Close to Turia Gardens and has views of the new Opera House.
