Found the hotel on internet and made an online reservation. (August 2004: 60Euro / night) We stayed here in a double bed room, with individual airconditioning, looking out over the central square, just two blocks away from the City Hall. We had breakfast outside the hotel, plenty of places to choose from.
As central as can be. The picture shows what you see looking out the window. From here you can reach every corner of the town by bus.
We arrived in Valencia on a Friady. After going to three or four hostels we found that they were all sold out for the weekend. As a last resort we went into the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, an impressive, large and busy square in Valenicia. We decided to try the Venecia. The couple in front of us hmmmed and hawed over the last room in the place and decided not to take it as it was too expensive. As I was getting desperate we took it. It was 63 Euro a night, not too bad and it was a really nice room. We had a jacuzzi tub, a small kitchen a queen bed and a pull out couch. It could have easily slept four. We also had a partial view of the Plaza. The hotel also offered free internet. I would definately stay there again in a heartbeat.
